Fun Food Fest will be taking over the Hampden Park and Pool Complex on June 30th, 2018. There will be a DJ taking requests and playing games at Hampden Pool from 1-4 p.m. (Membership or paid daily admission required) A variety of food trucks will be ready to serve food at 4 p.m. A ribbon cutting will take place at 4:15 p.m. to celebrate the new pavilion, play structure and bocce courts recently completed with the assistance of a PA DCNR grant.

New this year, the pool court yard will have a food donation drop off area for the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Please bring items such as peanut butter (to go size), canned chicken and tuna, single serve macaroni and cheese, shelf stable milk (8 oz), shelf stable 100% fruit juice, almonds, and individual fruit cups (4oz). All items should be labeled, factory sealed, and in good condition.

The Greater Harrisburg Concert Band returns for another popular free park concert from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Katz 22 will be making their Hampden Township Parks and Rec debut performing a three hour free park concert from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The evening will be capped off with a professional firework display. The pool will be open until the conclusion of the fireworks. Come spend the day at the park and listen to some great music, go for an evening swim, try some great grub and enjoy an evening of fireworks!
