Active Network- Online Registration

In March of 2016 the Recreation Department transferred their registration software to Active Network. Due to the new software, they are starting fresh with a brand new database of programs and users.  To better understand some basic procedures, please read the following sections.

Do I Need to Create an Account?

Before you proceed with creating a new account ensure that an account has not been creating one for you.  You may already have an account created if:

  • You already purchased a 2016 Pool Membership
  • You registered for a 2016 Spring or Summer Program
  • You have rented a facility for a future rental in 2016

Your previously purchased pool membership, activity or facility rental will be transferred along with your account.

To see if you have an account already, click "Sign In".  It will redirect you to a Log In screen.  Select "Forgot Your Password".  It will prompt you to enter your email address associated with your account.  If you have a valid account with us, the new software will automatically send you a temporary password.  If you receive the message "email address was not found", it could mean a few different things.

  1. It could mean you do not have an account registered with us and will need to set up a new one. 
  2. It could mean the email you entered is not associated with your account. (i.e. you tried your email, but your family account is linked to your spouse's email)

How to Create an Account

1. Go to our new Active Network Registration Site

2. Click on Create an Account

3. Fill in your name and address. Required Fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*). Click next.

4. Fill in your Contact Information.  Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*).

Note: To receive text message alerts, including cancellation notifications, please indicate your cell phone carrier.

5. Enter your personal information. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*).

For two adult households, it does not matter who is defined as "Head of House Hold" or "Spouse".  Whomever is defined as "Head of House Hold" will have their name displayed on receipts and rental permits.  Other adults living at your address need to create their own account. (i.e. adult children over 22 years old, grandparents, other extended family) 

6. Provide your account information.  Your email address will be your login, and you will be asked to create a password that is at least 8 characters long, and contain at least one number and one letter. 

Once you have all required fields filled, either select "create account" or "create account and add family member".  You have the ability to add your family members at this time. Select a role in family for each new family member. Options: Spouse, Son, Daughter, or Child that you are caring for that is not an immediate family member. (i.e. grandchild, niece, nephew, foster child) Adults living at same address need to create their own separate account.

Congratulations, you have created your Hampden Recreation Active Network account.  You are now ready to register for pool memberships, reserve facilities and sign up for activities!

Membership Cards and Resident IDs

Because of the Rec Department’s software upgrade, all 2016 pool members three years of age and older, whether you are renewing your old membership or obtaining one for the first time, will need a new Pool Membership Card. This can be accomplished one of three ways.

1). Get your picture taken at the Recreation Office during regular business hours or extended offices hours. Cards will be processed at a later time and will be available to be picked up at the recreation office before the pool opens for the season or at the pool front desk once the pool opens for the summer.

2). Get your picture taken at the Pool after it opens for the season. Cards will be processed at a later time and will be available to be picked up at the pool front desk on your next visit.

3). Email head shots of those needing to get their new cards processed. Send photos to parksdept@hampdentownship.us. Please put your last name in the subject line, followed by “ID Cards”. (For example, if the main contact for your family has the last name “Williams”, this is what it should look like- Subject: Williams ID Cards.) Make sure to label your photo to correspond with the names on your account.

RESIDENT ID CARDS

If you have a Resident ID Card and you do not use it at the pool for either the membership function or to receive a discount on daily admissions, than you do not need to get a new Resident ID card until your current card expires. Current Resident ID Cards with valid expiration dates will still be accepted at Armitage Golf Course and the Yard Waste Facility.

If you have a Resident ID Card that is expired and you do plan on using it at the swimming pool for discounted daily admission, you will need to obtain a new card via one of the methods listed above.
